About CampusVault

CampusVault is a digital platform designed to help institutions manage campus vehicle registration and verification, incident reporting, and campus safety activities.

CampusVault serves different users, including drivers, students, staff, institutions, campus safety staff, and administrators.

2

Account registration

Some CampusVault features require an account.

When creating or using an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Keep your information up to date.
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
  • Not share your account with another person.

You agree that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete.
  • You are authorised to register the vehicle.
  • Information and documents submitted for verification are genuine.
  • You will not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

Submitting a vehicle registration does not guarantee approval. The relevant institution is responsible for reviewing and approving registrations.

4

Vehicle verification

CampusVault may allow students and staff to verify vehicles on campus using information available through the platform.

Vehicle verification is intended to support campus safety and does not replace the authority, policies, or decisions of an institution or its authorised campus safety staff.

Users must not misuse vehicle information or use CampusVault to harass, threaten, or target another person.

5

Incident reporting

CampusVault allows users to submit reports about incidents on or around campus.

You agree that reports must be:

  • Submitted honestly and in good faith.
  • Relevant to the incident being reported.
  • Free from intentionally false or misleading information.
  • Not used to harass, threaten, or harm another person.

Institutions and authorised campus safety staff may review reports and take appropriate action.

CampusVault does not guarantee a particular outcome from an incident report.

6

Institution accounts

Institution accounts are created and managed through the CampusVault administration process.

Authorised institution users are responsible for using their accounts only for legitimate institutional purposes and keeping their login credentials secure.

7

Acceptable use

You must not use CampusVault to:

  • Provide false or fraudulent information.
  • Impersonate another person or institution.
  • Access another person's account without authorisation.
  • Harass, threaten, or harm others.
